Background
Exeter Golf and Country Club began life in 1895 as a golf course with just 96 members. Today it boasts an 18 hole golf course, indoor and outdoor heated pools, gym, fitness studio, tennis, squash, a spa, restaurant and bars. General Manager Chris Jones has been associated with Gasket Guy for the past two decades.
Problem
‘I first heard about Gasket Guy when I was at the Dart Marina Hotel in 2002. We were constantly being let down by the company providing our fridge seals. I had never heard of seals being referred to as gaskets but Gasket Guy’s details were included in the Torquay Hotels Buying Consortium so I decided to give them a go. I ordered some seals for bar bottle fridges, and then some more for kitchen fridges.’
Big savings
‘Immediately I could see we were going to make big savings on the cost alone. And they were more efficient too. I also like the fact that the company is owned and run by the same people who were there when I started using them. The engineer who usually visits is Alan. He’s great, very friendly and he really knows his fridges!
